Memmingen Airport welcomes a new airline partner: From the end of May SkyUp airline will connect Memmingen three times a week with the Ukrainian capital Kiev (Kyiv). Since Wizz Air continues to fly to the metropolis from Memmingen, the Airport can now offer six non-stop connections per week to the political and economic centre of the country.
Because after the start on May 27, the flight schedule of the Ukrainian charter and low-cost airline, which was founded in 2016 and started flight operations in 2018, provides flights from Memmingen to the large international airport Kyiv Boryspil on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. In its summer flight schedule 2021, Wizz Air offers the ideal addition with connections on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to the smaller Kyiv-Zhuliany airport, which is close to the city. “This means we can offer a direct connection to Ukraine six times a week,” explains Airport Sales Manager Marcel Schütz. “This is an ideal travel option, especially for business people from both countries.”
Tickets for the new Kiev flights, which will be operated with Boeing 737-800 planes, can already be booked at www.skyup.aero.
